Windler Ranch is a sixth-generation, family-owned operation in Yampa, Colorado, where we raise Registered Black Angus cattle at elevations ranging from 8,000 to over 9,000 feet. Surrounded by the Flat Tops Wilderness and BLM land, our cattle are developed in rugged, high-altitude conditions that demand real-world performance, structural soundness, and proven maternal traits.

We are proud stewards of this land and the animals entrusted to us. Through rotational grazing, regenerative hay production, and thoughtful herd management, we care for our environment the same way we care for our cattle—with intention, respect, and consistency. Our herd is PAP-tested, fully genomically profiled, and naturally developed to ensure long-term value for seedstock and beef producers alike.
This commitment to quality extends to our pasture-raised, grain-finished beef—rich in flavor, ethically raised, and a reflection of our high standards from start to finish.
At Windler Ranch, we raise cattle with grit, care for the land with purpose, and continue a legacy that’s generations deep and future-focused.
